Dear Mr President

Dear Mr. President

Some of "The People" have some considerations which you should consider!

Date:   3/7/2009 08:37:17

 As the President; it is your duty to try to steer a course for the country which is more than just meeting the interest of a few special interest groups...  This blog is meant to help you understand some of the needs of the common people!

 " In order to rule successfully; it is necessary for the whole needs of the people be understood!"  a True-ism

  Most people seldom come to understand the real meaning or purpose of their life... This is where it becomes important to seek the interest of those with whom your life is shared...  Each of us has a position or station in life which we alone must live...  You now as President must learn to make decisions which effect the entire nation as well as the world...

  Some advice to you is to seek the opinion of as many factions and people so that you can make the best valid decisions...  It is a true test of leadership for those in power; to recognize that it is only through the will of GOD that each of us can truly function on our pathway of life!

 " This republic shall last only so long as the non-producers come to acquire by the vote, what they the producer have! "  Thomas Jefferson

 Your position and quest is to try to find the best possible path for the nation to follow!  Please do not be limited by only those in the government which surround you in Washington! Seek the advice of the people and pray for guidance in all matters!

 Best regards;

 Citizen Kermit

Peace & Love??

Peace and Love??

When you learn that some people do not practice what they claim; peace, love and brotherhood...

Date: 10/20/2008 10:38:59

This is just a point of view.... Maybe those who are out side this group, need to treat them like they treat those who do not accept their one way view...

The following is an article about how certain people view and do not tolerate others who are outside their group or belief system... It is a sad commentary on what some humans do to each other in the name of religion(s)...

Where did the love and kindness of Islam go??

The western Christian relief agencies are there to help... They may well teach Christian beliefs; but they do not go around killing any who do not accept Christianty... Now more than ever Muslim people are moving into western countries and put their religion front and center... What happened to the so called " Separation of Church and State " policy with this group??

This is some more truth to start considering when you look at how history may well be changed in the near future... Some of this change and so called fairness you may not really want once you get a good look!!

British aid worker shot dead in Afghanistan for 'preaching Christianity'

By Caroline Gammell

Last Update 12:01 BST 17 Oct. 2008

Gayle Williams, who had been in the troubled country for three years, was killed by two gunmen on a motorcycle as she walked to work in the capital of Kabul.

She recently moved from Kandahar back to Kabul because it was seen as safer. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the shooting, which took place at 08:00 local time. Afghan interior ministry spokesman Zemeri Bashary said Miss Williams had been shot in the body and leg with a pistol.

"Two armed men sitting on a motorbike shot her dead," he said.

"Some bullets hit her body and some hit her leg and when police got there she was dead."
Her body was taken to a nearby hospital.

A Foreign and Commonwealth Office spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that a British national was shot dead in Kabul. Next of kin have been informed."

Mr Bashary said it was not known who was responsible, but Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, insisted his militia had carried out the killing.

"We killed her because she was working for an organization which was preaching Christianity," he said.

Serve Afghanistan is a UK registered charity which focuses on education and training for people with disabilities.

All its overseas staff are volunteers. The mission statement on its website says its purpose "is to express God's love and bring hope by serving the people of Afghanistan, especially the needy, as they seek to address personal, social and environmental needs."

Taliban insurgents have increasingly targeted aid workers this year in their campaign to spread an atmosphere of fear and undermine support for the Western-backed Afghan government.

Taliban insurgents killed three female aid workers and their Afghan driver in an ambush just outside Kabul in August, the bloodiest single attack on foreign humanitarian workers in Afghanistan in recent years.

Rising violence has already forced aid agencies to restrict humanitarian work at a time when drought and high prices are putting more people under pressure.

The answer is blowing in the wind!

The answer is blowing in the wind...

What we seek is not in the hands of government!!

Yes my friend the answer is blowing in the wind... Listen and you will know...

Date:   10/8/2008 19:23:55

It appears the our elected Representatives are all just looking toward spending more of your money; unless you do not pay tax...  The rest of us tax paying citizens have just about had enough, of this let them (US Taxpayers) pay up...

When you hear the government say the government is going to put up the funds, where do you think it comes from??   It is all national Debt; and we the taxpayers have to come up with the money...  It looks like it will pass on down to our grand children and maybe beyond...

 " Remember the only money the Government { Ruler, King, Supreme Group } has is what it takes from the people..."   HUH!!   Maybe you did not know that; well I am here as the Truth Barometer; to say that is the way it is!

  You do not have to believe just look at the facts, and read the fine article below:

  " Don't watch the man behind the curtain! "  This is what our politicians and advisor's want you to not do...  Do not pay any attention to how this  so called "Bail Out' is coming about...

Dear FairTax supporters,

Here are four things you can do to save the nation now:

1. Make a contribution the FairTax cause
2. Tell at least two friends about the FairTax now
3. Post a FairTax widget or banner
4. Check out our 2008 Election Guide

At the heart of the financial meltdown now bedeviling Americans is a simple and profoundly ignored fact that does not require an advanced degree in economics to understand: Our government spends more than it takes in—a lot more.

Sure, regulators could have done a better job but, in truth, politicians at every level have frustrated attempts to blow the whistle on bad loans, bad reporting and bad ethics. Why? Because politicians have been buying our votes with our money—and our future earnings—for a long time. And they don't want any interference from those they are "helping."

It's not just the naked bribes represented by "earmarks" for hometown voters; it is new entitlement programs like the prescriiption drug benefit, new rules governing the behavior of favored banks and investment houses and a headlong rush to buy the votes of the poor by guaranteeing home ownership, irrespective of one's financial ability to repay a loan. Lest we forget, let's also add up all the special tax breaks for favored contributors that have bloated income tax code rules to 67,500 pages. It's a bi-partisan betrayal of our future cloaked as concern for the common good.

Although our nation was founded on the principle that the citizen was sovereign, government spending increases and more and more taxes taken from our earnings, savings and investments have effectively transformed the American citizen into a serf working another's land for the privilege of taking a fraction of the fruits of his or her own labor.

Just Trust Us

"Trust us," we are told. "We have the best interests of the nation at heart." Citizens are now left with no rational choice to protect savings, college plans, and investments but to accept the new aristocracies' trillion dollar picking of our pockets to prop up institutions that must function. It is not the first time in recent years that we have accepted the grasping hand of the federal government in our wallets to avert a disaster not of our making.

In 1983 a "Blue Ribbon" panel of similar leaders including Alan Greenspan, Daniel Patrick Moynihan and others "saved" Social Security from another big collapse by dramatically raising taxes on earnings of up to $97,500 annually. The promise, then, was that Baby Boomers would actually "pre-fund" their own retirement with astoundingly increased taxes, decades ahead of time. It was also promised as relief to the coming generations so they would be free of crippling taxes. Sounded good.

Lo and behold, the trillions of dollars taken in since then—far exceeding promised payments to senior citizens—have since been spent on everything else. Turns out, that it was nothing more than a new tax levied on those with earnings below $97,500 a year so executive and legislative branch office holders could have more of our money to spend extravagantly on "us" so they could win new terms in office. The FICA payroll tax has become a major factor in keeping the poor that way, retarding new business growth and keeping middle-class earners from moving up. Worst, it also turns out that our children and grandchildren will, in fact, still be burdened an ever-growing and mind-numbing national debt AND unbelievably high FICA taxes to support their parents.

In yet another example of playing fast and loose with politics and our money, 1986 saw Congress reject the tax policies of the Reagan administration and as consequence, the Savings and Loan industry collapsed. Turns out the definition of the tax value of real estate holdings had been changed overnight by the House Ways and Means Committee and banks no longer met liquidity rules. That politically inspired cat fight cost American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars. And worse, we didn't learn.

It is past time--way past time--for hometown America to save America from our well-intentioned but criminally incompetent, at best, and cynically corrupted , at worst, national leadership. Do we have a moment to lose? Do we really need any more examples of how the new aristocracy can—and will—destroy the pursuit of happiness?

The reform that can save the nation and restore our identity as citizens who have empowered and limited government (instead of the other way around) is called the FairTax.

Because the FairTax allows every American to take home everything that is earned without any federal withholding, millions of distressed homeowners could actually afford home mortgage payments. The elimination of FICA taxes eliminates the highly regressive Social Security and Medicate tax but the FairTax provides a far broader stream of revenue into these faltering programs. Because the FairTax eliminates all exemptions, gimmicks and loopholes, Congress would be removed from the ability to buy votes with tax giveaways and billionaires pay taxes when they spend money. Because the FairTax makes nearly all federal government taxes entirely transparent, the sovereign citizen can know the score and put the brakes on extravagant new spending. Because the FairTax eliminates the price advantage now enjoyed by overseas producers, American jobs won't be leaving our shores. In fact, because the FairTax makes the USA the most favorable tax environment in the world, we can expect trillions of dollars of investment rushing into the US economy. With the FairTax, our money is ours first and only secondly devoted to government. Savings growth, investments and business decisions are guided by opportunity and real progress instead of tax avoidance tactics.

We've lost more than $2 trillion of our retirement savings in a week's time and our kid's future at college is in serious jeopardy. This didn't happen by accident but at the hands of the very same people who have given the FairTax a cold shoulder. Those candidates and incumbents of either party who would spend our future earnings to stay in office and who reject the FairTax for similarly self-interested reasons now need a strong reminder from voters about whose offices they occupy. Please pay attention to our voting guide and send that message.

Finally, our campaign needs your help—as always. We never have enough to do the job right. Send us a contribution if you can, even in these hard times. It may turn out to be the best investment you ever made. If you can't afford a donation, then help us by recruiting two new supporters. And keep your cards, letters, phone calls, faxes and e-mails going to incumbents and candidates.

The plain fact is, we either now save ourselves from our new aristocracy or suffer the consequences as modern day serfs in a nation never contemplated by our Founding Fathers.

Sincerely,

Ken Hoagland
National Communications Director

Some time back in Dixie

« on: Today at 05:40:14 AM »

 My mother grew up in South Georgia, USA  back in the 1920 & 30's...   She said that one of her jobs was to get up at 05:00 and start the fire...   They used fireplaces to heat the house in the winter months...   I remember the fireplaces, where you had to stand in front and turn to stay warm; from visits to my Grandparents house later, as  they still lived in that house until about 1955...

 My mother said they of course walked to school, and she remembers bringing biscuits  with syrup for lunch time... For many people in the world today this is still the the way of life...  Attached is some info from a copy of an article on a Georgia school in the 1920's & 30's  a good read...

 Historian Horace Holland writes:

 " The students brought their country ham, fried chicken or squirrel or turtle, baked possum and sweet taters... In store-bought dinner buckets or small lard buckets.... The diner bell would ring at Noon and the students would carry their dinner buckets outside and feast under the trees...  There was no electricity at the school until 1940 and the water was drawn from the well by hand.... "
 Hard  Life?   Yes by todays standards...

   Just maybe some people think they have it hard; how about no running water, no refrigeration,  very little food storage or food for that matter, fuel is wood, charcoal, or dried animal dung...  Oh yea, no TV either, nor a garage since they do not own a , motor vehicle, plus it is 200 miles to the nearest medical help!!    And you think you have got it bad??

   " One of the worse things for most people is to never realize the limits of their environment nor  ever learn to make the best of it!!"  a True-ism July 2008

Lets look at some things from my pathway of life...

 " One thing I learned about life is ; if you do not know where you are going yu will surely get there!!  a True-ism

  I guess you figured out that I am over the half century mark...  But that does not change the truth....   So where can we start, oh ya, down in south Fla. back in the late fiftys.... 1950s for the rest of you folks.....  We will talk a  bout some road warrior tales on my bike...  Well my younger brother and I, started using our bikes more and more, as Mom had remarried a guy named Charlie, and things got worse....  So off we would go on our bikes...

Went to Jr High as they called it in those days at one school, then had to transfer to another Mirror Lake Jr High {ya it is still there} for the 8th grade.... Well Charlie had not gone past the 8th grade, figured that was good enough for us too...  Mom was an RN, so was the first of her family from South GA to go to college.... This was  back during the " Depression",  if you don't know about that, get out your history {unless you have one of the new revisionist editions} book, and check it out....  So she and my granny or  Mrs "O" wanted us to go on to college, think GOD for them....

I say all that to tell I had to have a job, you know work after school, and Saturdays..  So I got a downtown paper route...  Here I learned how to play Chess as well as the lesson of not wasting time...  We delivered the "Final Edition",which came off the press as soon as the stock market closed....  Since New York was on Day Lite savings; which was way before before the south did so...  [now some of you think these were the days right after the dark ages, and King Author's  round table, about the time the TV came out, which is correct... So there were only a few of the Yankee states that played the day lite saving game then]  During these waiting hours I learned to play chess, got pretty good at it if I must say....  played tournament chess years later when I was in the Navy..

Back to the bike story....   Well as you may know, it gets dark sooner in the winter months, and the rains come in Sept, and Oct...  It is the end of the Hurricane season, you know...  So by the time I got through throwing the papers it was dark....  So on this particular night it was raining, which is not a good thing on a bike...  But someone had to do it so there I was making 2 cents a paper...  Heading out Central Avenue right past 4th St...  Which is a four lane with parking on both sides...  six lanes total.....  Who would expect to see some" Igmo" double parked [Which is where they just stop in their lane beside the parallel parked cars] in front of a Walgreens.....  I was mainly looking down due to the driving rain in my face, and would glance up every so often....

 I saw the tail lites, but thought that he was moving....  Wrong ....  So about the time I got to within about fifty feet, and realized this " Igmo" is not moving it was too late to change lanes, so I locked up the brakes.... and DUH.... went over on my left side, sliding down the street, at about 10 MPH with the bike lay-ed down in front, of Lucky me....  Slid on the wet pavement, right up under his bumper and the foot guard sliced a neat gash in the gasoline tank....  Since it was raining the fuel was not as noticeable, and there was no fire...  Again Lucky for me!!

Well I had to pry and pull the handle bars out from under the bumper....  My side hurt from the twenty foot slide down the street... Yet the Ole guy in the car just sat there; he never got out, once I was back up on the bike and ready set to head off again, he did roll the window down about an inch and ask if I was "ok".....   Of course I was sore, wet, and very fortunate that the whole thing did not expolde...  [Don't think he ever got his car started]  Just another chapter in what you go Through as a road warrior...

More later...  Stop back by as we look at more on my Unusual pathway of life...

Is Hybrid the solution?

Is a Battery green?? by Kerminator .....

Hybrid cars may be some what better; it remains to be seen the actual results... The use of a battery plant is not always the best plan, in a green world!

Date:   4/20/2008 14:49:28

Here is a FYI on some truth about going green, maybe.... HUH!

 What part does the electrical Battery play in the over all Green world picture...  Lets look at the use of the Battery in Hybrid cars and some other non uses...    These are some more true facts; from a Truth barometer point of view!!

 Hybrid cars - There are two basic types of Hybrids series or parallel:

 How They Operate

In practice, like a regular car, a series-hybrid vehicle has an engine that is generally running all the time. An electric motor placed "in series" between the engine and the wheels helps motivate the car. In assisting the engine, the electric motor helps improve fuel economy and reduce emissions. Some series hybrids also provide a "start-stop" function, which turns off the engine completely when the car is stationary, then restarting it instantly when the brake pedal is released.

Unlike a series hybrid, a parallel hybrid can operate like a fully electric car up to speeds of roughly 20-30 mph. In situations such as stop-and-go traffic, or under light acceleration at low speeds, the vehicle's engine may not run at all, relying completely on electric propulsion. The results are vastly improved city mpg ratings and, while in full-electric mode, essentially zero emissions.

 Now for something that they do not tell you on the Green Gore Global Warming network specials, folks...

   Lets look at the actual facts:

 1) First the so called " essentially zero pollution "  would only be true if there were not any fossil fuel burning power plants; puffing out smoke and pollution some where in the hinterland...  Therefore the hybrid cars still contribute to pollution in an indirect way, only you have moved it from your tailpipe going down the road to a power plant some where out in the countryside!!   Odd dilimia...

2) Batteries which are used in Automobiles hate heat & motion...  Cars are hot and have a lot of motion,  {unless you are parked in in an ice cave}!   Plus the Battery can be dangerous by causing;  chemical corrosion,  electrical shock,  as well it may be a source of fire...

 3) A large battery plant is also very heavy, about 200 lbs per Cu Ft.  and expensive...  The replacement of a complete battery plant will run in the several thousands of dollars, including the disposal costs...

 There is always the possibility that they might come up with some,  light, inexpensive, last almost forever battery;  but for now we have not seen it yet!!   Or else it is one of the most recent best kept secrets on modern technology!!      As we try to keep you up to date with the real truth in life...

So if you become the first green driver in your neighborhood,  you just may want to sell the Hybrid vehicle in a year or so before all the maintenance costs catch up with you...  All in all you may not like your electric hybrid car so well; once you get all the rest of the costs that come with maintaining and up keep...  After a couple of years or so, it may have been cheaper over all to just have driven a petrol fuel car after all... HUH!!

Just a few more things that you may not know...   lets look for more true facts, the mass media may not be telling you...  HUH!
Another tid bit of truth:  Back when Mt. Pinatubo, blew off in the Philippines; it supposedly put more polluting gases into the atmosphere in a few days than all the automobiles ever built..  So we may want to rethink this green thing argument...  It seems to be making some people very rich and powerful...

 The other side of the Green dilemma:

On the another side of the Green Question...  In back up power systems, which use a large Battery Plant...  These UPS  Uninterpretable Power System;  require a DC link to allow ride thru on power outages...  Thus usually a Large Battery plant...   But now we find many Green Dollars being poured into Rotary Flywheels in order to not use any battery...  HUH!   Then why do the Green Money People want to use battery in cars; yet turn around and pay big bucks for the non use any battery in UPS...

Now here is a dilemma for you, Battery, No Battery, Battery, No Battery...  Which is it?  It looks like a control situation to me...  Some times it is the green of the money that gets everyone's attention...  Not just a nice idea...

I am not against being conservative and being Green... Green is good!!

  BTW: Kermit has always been green; and he is me!  a True-ism 2000

 See Ya... Kermit

Cheap Tomatoes?

Thanks:

Ya, most people both here and else where do not seem to care about anything except getting their next paycheck, and having a so called good time...

Americans have been taught the wrong concepts, for so long, that they firmly believe it; they are totally confused and buffaloed by most of the politicians and the mass media...

The whole thing revolves around the idea that everyone deserves something from the government!!

What they did not learn or were never taught is that we the people are the government and thus do not need  politicians to tell us how to take care of ourselves...

As long as most people sit back and wait for someone else to take care of them they will be pawns in the game of life...     It takes backbone or gumption to stand up and help provide for youeself...

The Mexicans are not the real problem...  It rather like the war on Drugs.  We go after the drug dealers and suppliers, yet there would not be any Drug problem if no one here in the USA took or demanded them in the first place!!  HUH!!

As far as the race or gender or religious, or economic, or social angles go there would not be any problem if those involved would get over being constantly sought out as targets by the leading politicians and the mass media...   We can and should live together in peace and harmony...

Will touch on this more later....  Kermit

Recession Good for US??

Friday, March 21, 2008

Recession is good for the US?

Why the Recession Is Good for Us!

By Dr. Steve Sjuggerud, from Gatwick Airport in London"You Americans will come out of this mess just fine," a top executive at a publicly traded British company told me this week. "You always do."
"Sometimes it takes a challenge to find out what you're made of," he continued, and I was eating it up. "Americans are not afraid to work."

This last statement stopped me... Is that really true? Do we still have a work ethic back in the States?
I thought about how, for the for the first time in American history, the life expectancy of an American might actually be going down, thanks to bad eating and lack of exercise. And I thought about all the reality television in the States, celebrity meltdowns, video games...
I wondered if Americans are willing to work as hard as he believed.
Then I thought of it from his perspective...
"We had a bloke pick up a computer off a desk and throw it at a window," my friend told me. "But thanks to English law, we still couldn't sack the guy for weeks."
He says it's incredibly difficult to fire someone in England. Worst of all, the employees know it. This causes two problems...
First, English companies are afraid to take risks. They're afraid to be entrepreneurial. If they have a business idea that requires 10 employees to try, they might not try it, simply because they can't fire the 10 guys if it doesn't work.
Second, since the employees know they're not at risk, they can be lazy – really lazy. Apathy kicks in around the office if you know you can't be fired. You just clock in and clock out. It's like lifetime employment, with the government insuring your job. As he explains it, it sounds terrible... It's sounds like the UKSR... the United Kingdom of Socialist Republics.
In order to keep up a socialist republic, a government must have an insatiable appetite for money...
The big news in England this week was British Chancellor Alistair Darling's tax hikes. Taxes are up on the easiest things to raise taxes on: booze, cigarettes, and pollutants. What legislator is really going to stand up and argue against those?

Now, if you buy a new Volvo XC90 in England, you'll have to pay an additional $1,900 in tax. If you buy a beer or a bottle of wine, taxes are up. And a pack of smokes will cost you more in taxes, too. I don't smoke or drive a Volvo, and I hardly drink. But I still think these are ridiculous – particularly considering that the Brits are already heavily taxed. Already, a gallon of gas in Britain is about $8. Eight dollars a gallon!
In the eyes of Brits, America is still the Land of Opportunity. While Americans might think that government gets in the way of business, it is nothing like it is in the U.K. and the rest of Europe. Our businesses are set up to encourage entrepreneurship. And while we think we're heavily taxed, our burden isn't as bad as it is in the U.K.
I hope my friend is right... America provides opportunity, and sometimes it takes being challenged to find out what you're made of.As we experience these tough times, I do know two things:

1) In order to have the freedom to get rich, you have to have the risk of getting poor. So you can't forget that booms and busts are a natural part of having a dynamic, growing economy. We had a real estate boom. Now we have the bust.
With the exception of the Great Depression, our economic system has proven to generate more wealth across the board over time than any other system. The recession now may be painful, but it is a part of the right system.

2) Stock prices can do extremely well in a recession. As I reported in the February 12 DailyWealth, stocks generally bottom about halfway into a recession. The average fall is typically about 19%. If this recession follows a typical pattern, stocks could bottom by this summer. Then you really can make a heck of a lot of money!
(Stocks may have actually bottomed this week... This week felt like the bottom we saw in August 2007, when an enormous amount of fear gripped the market before the Fed came in and saved the day.)

Things may look bad... but even compared to England, we've got things pretty darn good.
Remember, recessions are a normal part of our dynamic economic system. And also remember, you can make a lot of money buying stocks as the recession bottoms. Based on historical averages, the time to really start buying stocks could be here soon.

Recession Investing: The Right Time to Buy
How to Profit in the New Credit Crunch

Recession is tough... but it is better than the alternatives you'll find in much of the world, where closet-socialist governments spend enormous amounts of taxpayer money trying to protect people from themselves.
Thanks to our system, as my friend said, we Americans will come out of this mess just fine...
Good investing,
Steve

Semi - Truths

The Truth on my roadway... by kerminator .....

Why do some people want to mislead others ?  Is it  just to control them?  Is it just the old domination thing?

Date:   2/29/2008 2136:57

Why does it seem that as I get older, much of the so called Truth of today; appears to be presented in some new warped version...

 a True-ism Feb.08

I feel led to present the real Truth; ( as I find it ) to expose falsehoods and semi-truths...  This is the main reason I present this information and research...

The Semi-Truths seem to be based on a format of control or domination!   Someone wants to make you do something their way; usually for their profit or else why would anyone attempt to take away your liberty and freedoms??

Most of this so called truth, is in the form of the " Politically Correct " format...  Which tends to follow a  " Liberal or Socialist " point of view...  When you really analyze it;  the plan for domination of the masses by a select few, emerges!!  This type plan may be familiar to those who bother to study any history...

Here is where you might want to ask what is in it for them?  They want your money, then want to commence to tell you what you must do to get the so called services which are to be provided...  HUH!!

This discussion will center on how the Truth got bent,  which will be presented in more detail on future blogs...  As this will take a great deal of development and explanation; we must move with caution, seeking only the Absolute Truth...

 BTW: I am not selling anything, I do not want anything you have, or do I want to become  a grand group leader!!  So stop back as we move ahead on exposing some of the Semi-Truths of today, mainly the Mass Media view...

This is where my road of life takes me and you know...  Seeking and exposing the Absolute truth, regardless where it takes us...  Are you ready??

See Ya...  Kermit

Global Gore House

AN INTERESTING EMAIL I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY.
HMM....

Nice to know the truth about some people, HUH!!

Subject: A Tale of Two Houses

The following from Snopes authenticates the following which is going around on e-mail. And it checks out to be TRUE
http://www.snop es.com/politics/bush/house.asp
A Tale of Two Houses

House #1
A 20 room mansion (not including 8 bathrooms) heated by natural gas. Add on a pool (and a pool house) and a separate guest house, all heated by gas. In one month this residence consumes more energy than the average American household does in a year. The average monthly bill for electricity and na tural gas runs over $2400. In natural gas alone, this property consumes more than 12 times the national average for an American home. This house is not situated in the Northern or Midwestern 'Snow Belt' area. It is in the South.

House # 2

Designed by an architect ure professor at a leading national university. This house incorporates every 'green' feature current home construction can provide. The house is 4,000 square feet (4 bedrooms) and is nestled on a high prairie in the American southwest. A central closet in the house holds geothermal heat-pumps drawing ground water through pipes sunk 300 feet into the ground.
The ground water, usually at 67 degrees F,is not used or contaminated but is recirculated back into the ground.The ground waterheats the house in the winter and cools it in the summer. The heat-pump system uses no fossil fuels such as oil, propane, or natural gas and it consumes one-quarter of the electricity required for a conventional heating/ cooling system. Rainwater from the roof is collected and funneled into a 25,000 gallon underground cistern. Wastew ater from showers, sinks, and toilets goes into underground purifying tanks and then into the cistern. The collected water then irrigates the land surrounding the house. Surrounding flowers and shrubs native to the area enable the property to blend into the surrounding rural landscape.

~~~~~
HOUSE # 1 is outside of Nashville , Tennessee ; it is the abode of the 'environmentalist' Al Gore .
HOUSE # 2 is on a ranch near Crawford , Texas :
It is the residence of the President of the United States, George W. Bush .
'An inconvenient truth' I sure hope this gets passed to everyone!
A wooden bowl
The wooden bowl... by kerminator ....
Life is more about how you react than how you think you should be treated... HUH!!
Date:   9/26/2007 20:10:18
This is from an email from a close friend...   May you consider this dear friend; as you pass on through this life??
 Once a frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and
 four-year - old  grandson.
The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step
 faltered.
The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's
 shaky hands  and  failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor.
When he grasped the glass, some times it spilled on the tablecloth.
The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess.
'We must do something about father,' said the son.
'I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the
 floor.'
So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner.
There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed
 dinner.
Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, so his food was served in a
 wooden bowl.
When the family glanced in Grandfather's direction, sometimes he had a
 tear in his  eye as he sat alone.
Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when
 he  dropped a fork or spilled food.
The four-year-old watched it all in silence.
One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood
 scraps on  the floor.
He asked the child sweetly, 'What are you making son?'   To which, the
 boy responded,
" Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when
 I grow up; and you get old."
'The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.
The words so struck the parents so that they were speechless.
Then tears started to stream down their cheeks.
Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done.
That evening the husband took Grandfather's hand and gently led him back
 to the  family table.
For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for
 some  reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork
 was  dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.
On a positive note, I've learned that, no matter what happens,
how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she
 handles four things:
    a rainy day,  the elderly,  lost luggage, and  tangled Christmas tree
 lights.
I've learned that, regardless of your relationship with your parents,
you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.
I've learned that making a 'living' is not the same thing as "living a
 'life..."
I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on
 both hands.
You need to be able to throw something back
I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you
But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others,
your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you; I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the
right decision.
I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.
I've learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone.
People love that human touch -- holding hands, a warm hug, or just a
 friendly pat on the back.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that you should pass this on to everyone you care about. I
 just did.
This is a previous blog reply....
What we have here is a lack of communication!! Y'all... by kerminator ...
It seems that we all have an air of superstition and personal shame which clouds our overall view of others... Only GOD sees the heart!!
Date:   6/13/2006 07:47:11
Even down in Dixie; people are not always what they first seem...  We all have an air of self preservation; which makes us suspicious of others...  It happens with friends, in families, at work, at school, at church and of course with strangers one and all...
Why I write this is because; based on a person's background; many people never  come to truly trust another human being... We tend to get caught up by the past hurts and actions of others...  I can see painfully this in my own family & friends... We judge!!
      Trust must be earned on this earth; according to most people... (which is not true)  They see almost everything as related to some deed or occurance...  They live based on past experiences;  which I understand is most of what we all see or know about most other people...   But there is inside of us all; a yearning to seek the better and look for the good in a person... This is what and where we must place our trust...  Trust is like Faith; it exist solely because of a person's core beliefs!!
 I know that some people in this world are deceitful and mean... At times you may be taken back by the dastardly deeds of others;  but you should look toward a better day...  It is only the memories of this life that we take into Eternity; so seek the good...
Each of us are given certain opportunities to make the best of life; over come and forgive those who trespass against us...  This one of our main purposes in life...  Dare to do something constructive and help someone today...   Start with a positive attitude!!
BTW: a personal note:
A little over a year ago....   Coming from work; one clear, sunny afternoon;  I was just pulling onto the inter state ramp some fifty odd miles from home...  Standing there along side of the road was a  tall older man, dressed in white Bermuda shorts, a white golf shirt, a white cap and had a white back pack; with a sign of an exit I would pass some ten odd miles down the interstate... I seldom ever stop to pick up hikers!!
But this seemed different; I stopped and he got in and said "I knew you would pick me up"  as we went on down the interstate...
  I ask;  "Why he was only going to the exit shown on the sign??"
He replied that he was a messenger of GOD and placed his hand upon my right shoulder...  He then said that he had a message for me and that he would only need the time it took to get to that exit...
He said " I was not to worry and get involved about many of the worldly things..."
"There are more good people with strong spirits, who out number the evil doers..."
"I was suppose to speak to these people; and help others to learn the truth of life and what GOD has planned for them..."
He told me; how he traveled about and delivered messages...  He had just come down from the North Georgia Mountains... He was going down to Macon to deliver another message...
As we pulled off at the designated exit; He said I could let him off at a World Famous Restaurant, the one with the golden arches... He said he would wash up and rest  before going on down to Macon...
I ask if I could take him on down to Macon??
But he replied; " No that this would be fine and that God would provide him a way..."
I ask " where he stayed?? "
He said " under bridges or where ever the Lord directed..."
As we stopped in the parking lot; and he got out...   I handed $20 to him...
He said that he had no need for money...
He was clean, his cloths were nice, there was no odor, He was an Angel....
I learned that day, which way, I must put my efforts, and when ask how I am??
 Answer:
  " I  am far better than I deserve to be"  By the Grace of GOD and must try to forful my calling...    To help others placed in my pathway of life..."
" Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." Hebrews 13: 1 & 2 KJV
I have....  Your blessed servant; Kermit...
Star of Bethlehem
« on: December 13, 2007, 11:56:33 AM »
The world has debated whether the Star of Bethlehem was fact or fiction...  Many believed that it was just a legend created by the early Christian church to help mark the Advent or Birth of the Christ child!
But if you are a seeker of the Truth and have a open mind read on!!
Exactly what did they see as the Star of Bethlehem??
We will never absolutely know because the earliest written description
dated at least 80 and probably over 96 years after the event.
 Worse, those first writings have long since disappeared
and the only existing written shreds are from the
third century; that’s over 300 years after the
event. While this discrepancy seems insurmountable,
recall that the Iliad and the Odyssey were
passed verbally over many centuries before being
put on paper. Although those great classics are
filled with exaggerations, mythology, mysticism
and spirituality, the events they depicted actually
happened and the people involved actually lived.
Scientists have separated myth from reality in
those classics and since the “Star” is more recent
history by comparison, we should be able to do
the same.
In 1604 Johannes Kepler was first to
try and identify the “Star.”
Scientific insight results when knowledge,
experience, data and events come together in a
mind that’s prepared. In 1604, Johannes Kepler
had been sifting through prodigious data while
attempting to explain the motions and periodicity
of the solar system objects when a nova
appeared in the middle of a spectacular planetary
conjunction. Kepler’s insight enabled him to identify
the “Bethlehem Star” within the science of
the time and moved the “Star’s” identification from faith-based belief
 to fact-based inquiry.
 Kepler came to a preliminary erroneous conclusion but then identified
and corrected his mistake. His conclusion stood into the 20th century. It
clearly ranks him as a great scientist and his interest in astrology
 (in modern terms) helps us realize the Magi are the
people we must understand to identify the “Star.”
As  Jupiter, Mars and Saturn conjunction and Nova-1604 that led Kepler to
identify the Star of Bethlehem. He accurately predicted a similar
planetary conjunction 1,610 years earlier which
was identified as the  “Star” into the 20th century.
Come with an open mind and check preconceptions at
the door.
The number of books, articles and web
pages on the Bethlehem Star are difficult to
count let alone read; for instance, starting with
the idea that it’s just a story contrived to jump
start a new religion and ending with the notion
that the “Star” was an undiscovered (by modern astronomers)
 planet known only to those who can read certain obscure Sumerian
texts made infamous by the 1960’s book, “Chariots of the Gods.”
However, beginning with Kepler, there have been some serious
investigations which have provided some excellent candidates
to explain what the right people saw.  Interestingly, serious astronomers
 who investigate the phenomenon must delve into astrology
although it was probably the astronomy of the day. It requires us to think in
terms of people who thought the sun, moon and planets were embedded in
spheres, closer than the fixed stars, rotating over Earth. More, they believed
these heavenly bodies had powerful influences on mortals. Does it sound
familiar? It’s the stuff you find in astrology columns today.
Our inquiry begins by accepting that it was a real astronomical event
that meets the criteria found in the New Testament books of Matthew and Luke.
This places many possibilities on our table because between about 6 and 1 BC,  several spectacular astronomical events occurred that any modern professional
and amateur astronomer would have observed and imaged.
 One of them meets the criteria that would have caused the “Wise Men of
Matthew,” the Magi, to make the journey from Persia (or was it Babylon?) to
Judea and to the area of Bethlehem.
However, to do an adequate job we’ll explore aspects of population demographics,
astrology, astronomy and even some sociological issues to objectively
explore the question.
Nevertheless, no matter how compelling a case anyone makes, no eyewitness
account, including Sumerian texts, has ever been found that yields an
unequivocal answer. That leaves us to take our own personal conclusion. I sincerely hope that my exploration provides sufficient information to help you
to reach a personal conclusion or encourages further searching on your
own. Either way, I will have succeeded.
Paradigm of Nutrition
Paradigm of Nutrition
Life is about a constant renewal and support... Here is another view of somethings we could connect with to improve our pathway of life!!
 Forum  Intercourse & Life;  God's Life Force starts on Mother Earth!
« on: October 20, 2007, 04:52:16 »
This is from Gabriel Cousens, book Conscious Eating, I highly recommend this book to anyone who would want to improve their Life.
A new Paradigm of Nutrition
Perhaps the most important way to understand and to commune with Mother Nature is to develop a nurturing relationship with her. Without the nutrients she supplies us we could not survive. In a basic way, what we eat and how we care for ourselves affects how we relate to the ecology issues of the planet. Ecological reform starts with us.
How can we possibly come into a meaningful harmony with the rest of nature if we pollute ourselves? If we do not take care of our own inner rivers and streams (circulatory system), our own inner atmosphere (lungs), and our own soil (skin and tissues) in a way that brings us into harmony with ourselves as a glorious manifestation of nature, how can we believe that we can take care of the planet?
As we change our attitudes about our attitudes about our own bodily ecology of the planet. Our own insensitivity to own inner nature begets insensitivity to the outer world of nature. Conscious eating doesn’t exist separately from the planet.
Our spiritual development is also linked to the quality of our nutrition. Presently we are part of what I perceive as a rising spiral of planetary consciousness that is bringing about an ever-increasing amount of spiritual awareness among the people of the world. In this process of awakening, if the body is not able to raise its vibration rate to keep up with the rest of the spiritualization process, it is possible to slip onto a state of imbalance. There needs to be a corresponding spiritualization of the body that keeps us in harmony with our expanding mental and spiritual awareness.
By consciously building the type of physical body that is able to be sensitive to, attract, conduct, nurture, and hold the hither spiritualizing energies, we become more capable of holding the full power pr God’s Light. This approach is what I refer to as “full body enlightenment,” in which we experience ourselves as the body rather than simply in the body. In this context, the body is not separate from spirit but is the manifestation of spirit. Spiritual development is an essential building block of the foundation with which to attain a full nutritional understanding.
Supreme Life without Earthly Food.
ALL COMES FROM GOD AND IS NOURISHED BY GOD. The energetic power of God is the ultimate source of all nutrition.
That He might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by everything that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.(Deuteronomy 8:3)
In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
This Divine cosmic force, manifesting at various levels of density, is the most basic and primary nutrient on which our organism can nourish itself. From the perspective of these two biblical quotes, we can consider all levels of energy available to us as nutrients. This includes the pure, non material, cosmic force----or virtual energy, as some quantum physicists call it.
Sunlight is also a major nutrient, as well as radiation from the other stars (stellar) and moon (lunar energies), oxygen, electromagnetic radiation from the Earth, and the densest and most tasty condensation of energy, our material food from the vegetable kingdom. The expansion of our understanding to include the wide spectrum of nutrients that nature gives us broadens our knowledge of what, in fact, qualifies as a nutrient.
The aspect of this “new” nutritional paradigm that food is not only material but also energy is fully acknowledged in the Chinese, Tibetan, and Indian Ayurvedic systems of health. In our Judaic-Christian heritage there is also such a tradition that energy is the original, essential nutrient.
In The Forgotten Books of Eden, in the section called “Secrets of Enoch,” Enoch is said to have ASCENDED ALIVE for thirty-three days and then returned to share his teachings with his children. He said: Hear, child, from the time when the Lord anointed me with the ointment of his glory, these has been no food on me [material food], and my soul remembers not earthly enjoyment, neither do I want anything earthly.
Two famous examples of living on the direct, non material, nutritive energies of the divine are that of Moses, who spent a total of eighty days on Mt. Sinai without food or water, and Jesus, who spent forty days and nights in the desert without food or water. In John 4:31 when Jesus’ disciples said, “Rabbi, eat,” he said to them, “I have food to eat which you do not know of”.
Two major inferences from these examples can be made. One is that these great ones reached a height of spiritual transformation on a cellular level which allowed them to assimilate enough of the cosmic energy of the Divine directly into their bodies that they could survive solely on the energetic “manna from heaven.”
The other implication is that there is a relationship between the energetic of our nutrition and our spiritual transformation. As we transmute on the physical, Mental, and spiritual planes, we are more and more able to partake of the feast of God’s Divine sustenance on the primary level of the cosmic energy.
A nutrient, on this context, is what we absorb into our overall body-mind-spirit from the different density levels that have precipitated from the cosmic force. Material food is the densest, sunlight is the least dense on the material plane, and pure cosmic energy is the most subtle nutrient.
