  Never!!   Is the only correct answer...

 Much like the song by Johnny Cash, " Ring of Fire "
 I fell into a "Burning Ring of Fire " this week; when I became over zealous on my views of what is proper and / or suitable for a woman to wear in public... 

It started this way; I came across some swim suits advertised on one of the major Email / News web sites...   I saw some that would be of interest a male; like myself...  I then copied and posted a couple of these provocative style swimsuits on to one of the Blogs I write...   Well it not only got attention; but received several replies;  about how men view such things...

Well I defended myself;  until in a reply: One comment came from a fine Lady;   Telling me that this was not a good example for our young girls and women...  It sent the wrong message, since as she put it;  in so many words..  [ That growing up she, was taught that her body should be some what of a mystery to the male...   Not just displayed; out there for all the world, mainly men to view...  Because in the grand scheme of things; the sexual desire of the male is peaked by the mystery and allure of the woman; in order to attract a mate... ]
   
If there were not any sexual desires on the part of people; I doubt that there would be any reproduction...  HUH!!
This so true; because the whole theme of beauty in the Nature is for the purpose of reproduction...  The beauty of the flower attract the bees which pollinate, and so forth in the world...  

 Therefore, I confessed in a reply;  that I had fallen into a moment of lust and self desire when I posted remarks and photos; which were not in the best interest of either myself or women in general...  Since I have several young Grandaughters, I have come to agree with this fine Lady;  that I was wrong and will try to be more considerate in the future... 

So you see I am not perfect nor do I know everything yet!!  This is just a personal appeal that demonstrates that;  we should all try to live our lives in a manner that does not bring shame or discomfort to others...   It should be one of our purposes in life;  that is to be a friend and benefactor to those we meet on our pathway of life...

May we always try to keep our lust and desires in check so as to not embarrass or exploit others!!

Why leave Iraq??

One thing I ran into always is the Truth!!
(My Unusual Road of Life....)

I have always attempted to post the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth so help me GOD!!  At times I miss the mark; or at least get off target some what...  But I always come back to the whole Truth!! 

I have been lambasted and called down on this several times...  I have and will attempt to always display the truth as I come to understand and comprehend it!!  That is all we can ask folks, is a serious attempt and effort to seek and then present the Whole Truth in any matter...  


So this is a reflection of the Truth as I have found it about our participation in the conflict in Iraq...  I do not make the truth, or control the truth, or have any direction in it being the Truth, I just attempt to report and share in a common sense form what I have learned folks!!  Here is another page on my road or pathway of life!!


If you do not agree that is OK; you do not need to like the Truth; just learn to accept it for what it is!!  I learned this years ago!!

the American withdraw from Iraq

 






A friend of Mine from America asked yesterday wither I think that the American Military should leave or not and below you will find My Answer to that question



" ……As for the American army , they should stay. we do not have an Army (just some boy scouts with AK 47on Pick up trucks) no Air force what so ever (not a single fighter jet) only 4 or 6 Hewe Helicopters with no real fire power and only being used to Taxi officers to the south and the north for it is out of the question that they drive through some areas. As for the Government it is totally dysfunctional, no services what so ever and it is getting worst. No law enforcement and the real power in the street is for the insurgency and the Militias, who scares the crap out of the Army and the police . People are being killed and kidnapped in front of the police and the police are doing nothing, either because they are affiliated with them or they simply fear for their life.
Now the Americans are planning to blame it on the Iraqis and just leave. They could not do that for it will simply be punishing the Iraqi people. Those politicians who are now in the Government were brought by the Americans in the first place and now the Iraqis are paying the price and they will be the one bearing the consequences because those people who were brought by the Americans did a bad job. As I see it, they should fix what they destroyed in the first place and then we will be more than happy to see them leave. But to say sorry we have suffered too much in the mess that we have created and we will leave you to handle that mess that we created for you, this is outrageous".

The New Iraqi Army

 

The Iraqi Army Just announced few days ago that they will be replacing the AK-47 Assault rifle, (widely known as the Kalashnikov after its Russian designer Michael Kalashnikov) which has been the standard issue weapon of the Iraqi Army since the 60s, with the American Made M-16 and M- 4.

So, what is wrong with this news?

Since I have been in Iraq all my life I know for a fact that almost every Iraqi Young-man, and boy, knows how to deal and maintain the AK-47. This came as a result of an 8 year long war with Iran, during which the AK was the constant and trusted companion of the Iraqi Soldier in the Battle field. Then it was widely used by almost every Iraqi on August 8th 1988, when the seize fire was announced between Iraq and Iran , marking the end of the war between the 2 countries. People went out in the streets firing their AKs to celebrate the great announcement for days. The AK was ululating for them.

Then Came the Days of the war with America, Saddam decided to train the Iraqis, all the Iraqis, and young, Old, men and woman on using the AK-47 to "defend Iraq ". So as you can see there is a long history between the Iraqis and the AK-47.

For those who have never used or even seen a gun, the AK-47 is considered the most practical assault rifle ever. It hardly jams and it has been battle tested and it came out with flying colors. I still remember when J. Garner ( the first American civil administrator in Iraq after the war) when his body guards came to the press room carrying all kinds of Semi Automatic rifles and guns. The next press conference they all came Carrying AKs. I was surprised then, but the camera man who was with me that day, who happen to be an Ex-Marine, was not.

"Are you kidding, it is our dream weapon" he said when I pointed out that the American PSDs (private security detail) are carrying AKs.

So why the Iraqi Army would switch from the weapon which is most efficient, well trained on and never had problem with, to another weapon that they are totally unfamiliar with and known for its problems and how much maintenance it requires.

The Ministry said that they want to do that in order to put an end to the weapons being stolen and sold at the Black market, which means that now we would find the M-16 and M-4 in the black market, but no one will buy them for 2 reasons.  1st they are not as good and reliable as the AK so the Iraqis are smart enough not to buy them,  2nd where do you think the Aks that the Iraqi Army abandoned will go, they will definitely end up at the Black market which will reduce its current price( which is around 300$). The Ministry also said that they almost got those rifles for free; well we did not want them in the first place. What the Iraqi Military need is new Modern tanks instead of the T-52 second hand Tanks which are imported after the war form former Soviet republics and eastern Europe. We want new fighter jets, and modern warship helicopters like the Cobra, Apache or the Chinook, so that we have a real Military force in stead of the Current boy scouts who are being slaughtered on the hands of more powerful and better equipped terrorists and militias. Then we will be able to say to the foreign forces, now you can go back home safely for your "Mission" is really "accomplished" and you do not need to fear for us any more. So in stead of sending us Junk, send some F- 16 s in stead. It is only one letter different but it makes all the difference at the Battle field.





 


This is part of our road of life shared with those who understand that for Good to triumph; some one has to do something...  That is what we (USA) and allies are attempting to do in Iraq...  Yes I understand that are always alternative ideas, and plans by the scrupulous ones, but in the long run the honest and true will win out; if we do not falter!!

what ever happened to "Shame' or " Modesty" or the notion that we have a conscience; which should act as a guardrail on our pathway of life??

To every Man, woman, or child...

What ever happened to our Conscience which is suppose to act as a kind of guard rail on the Pathway of life??   Who made " Modesty " a dirty word and why does it seem that no one feels shame any more??   These are just a few things we will look at today...

First; Shame is a good emotional reaction to things which are not in our best interest... HUH!! Imagine that folks; things that may not be our best interest... What a novel thought in this world of do what you want...

  Yes, I know that the entertainment industry in recent years has shown every conceivable thing they can come up with; with out any shame...   They have lead the way to the thought;  that there is no real shame...  While the idea may be popular and flaunted in todays society; believe me this idea of ' No Shame"  will come back to haunt us...  As it is not true, for a person without shame is truly a lost soul...

 Shame is used to keep our base, vial, personalities in check; so we could behave as civil humans; rather than with brute animals responses...   Some would ask why we need to shame??  Well once you open the door to crass and crude actions, with out any remorse or consequences, you have set the trap for total failure...  Shame is a stop gap or limiting factor, so that we do not get beyond our real desires... 

While desire is an emotion Ordained by GOD;  it is to be used with concern as to understanding of the consequences in life...   Remember the old saying  " There is no free lunch " should stand out as an example of not;  just jumping into bed with what ever comes down the pike, so to speak...  So when desire is controlled and directed toward a goal it becomes a very worth while thing in our life...

Modesty is another key part of this human defense mechanism if you please...  It allows one to bow out or learn to keep oneself in check; under many undesirable occasions...  This built in modesty mode was to have one excuse or remove oneself from such actives that could prove both dangerous, uncompromising or plain gross...  It is these defense mechanisms if you please; that help us keep our person under control and responsive to our real wishes and desires...   The idea is to learn to control and respond to our lust or covertness in life...

The main key is our conscience; the guardian which is the real keeper of our soul...  Our conscience should direct us; so we can function in life and be the best person...  If we can not learn to live with our life under control then we will never ever be able to do anything of value either for ourself or anyone else!!  Our conscience is the key; to our controlling ourself and following our core values... 

Now if you do not understand what core values are or how they operate; then we will need to cover this more later...  This whole concept of conscience is based on the primes that you are an intelligent spirit; who should be seeking the best pathway of life...  Conscience is the reminder or presence of one's core values and built in principles where they help to reinforce our existence...  Without a conscience you are no more than a mad dog; or rabid skunk lost in the world of the sane and living...   This is the curtain between evil and good; or sane and forever lost in mind and spirit...  Without conscience one becomes a person with a reprobate mind!!  

Very sad but so preventable; with a good conscience and strong mind; we can be the person GOD meant for us to be... Why do we even want to try to cross this mind field of grief and pain??  The decision is yours!!

Here we discuss the " DID" principle of life... See where you are friend!!

 

Yes believe it or not...This effects every man, woman, and child living!!

As we move through this life we all see and hear many things...  Most of which are pure bunk or junk...  It seems that most people waste much of their time on useless things, which will never really help them in this of Eternal Life... HUH!!

Well I am no stranger to that...  I have wasted and wanted for many things that could have worked out if;  I had only taken the time to analyze my position... So this is not a judgment; rather it is an observation on life!! In other words the plain truth!!  Something most people want to avoid, it seems...

We even get so smart as to think that we are some kind of super person or have special privileges in life...  Lets define this avenue of thought...

First we each are a unique person, and have the opportunity to lay claim to the Grace provided by Almighty GOD!!  This is part of  what I have called the       " DID principle "...  a Kermit-ism July 2007   Lets review our life and opportunities in this earthly life!!

Under the " DID principle ", we each come into this world as Dependent infants, and then continue on as children...  We all must depend on the goodness of others to survive...  Parents, relatives, or friends on our pathway of life...   

Gradually we learn to fend for ourselves developing to become so called              " Independent"...  This is where most people spend the remainder of our earthly existence...  In the realm of a know it all, I am in control world... HUH!!

That is where I thought I knew it all;  just sitting here so called "Fat, Dumb and Happy" or so I thought...  Well this is where I ran into the Rock Hard solid wall of reality... Well Boy was I wrong...   I was about as Independent as a sheet of paper blowing in the wind, and went the same way...  That is which ever way the winds blow...    In other words out of control or with out any Eternal Purpose!!

This is where many people today, find them selves; if they are absolutely honest!! Blowing in the wind...     

Here is where we need to look at the last part of the "DID principle"  that is Dependence upon someone else for our completion into Eternity beyond!!  This is where every human must come to a decision...  Wither to accept the will of GOD in their life or not!!  It is this acceptance of the Grace of GOD that completes our life and allows us to move with confidence under HIS loving care and Dependence!!

It is here only; that you will find the completion of your life and the fullness of the love of GOD...  Once you are Dependent under the Holy Grace of GOD!!

If you are confused or do not know or understand the Grace of GOD; please reply or email me and we will talk, Friend!!   I thought I knew it all once!!I believe there is a key to ever lasting life here!!

We will go on to discuss personal control and how this will help you become a "Spirit Warrior"...   All of this is meant to allow you to have a better Eternal life!!   Stop by and read more as we explore this...

Many times in life we continue on in disarray, with out any reguard...   The real spirit of our thinking and actions should be to try and make some sense out of the mess we are in...  HUH!! 

If we can but learn to make the best of any circumstance in life; then we will come full circle to being adapt at living life to it's fullest!!  This is the whole picture folks; learn to find to good and positive things in life...  Everything is not going to be perfect and wonderful all the time, so get ready to do what ever to find the best out come...

NEVER!! Should be the answer...  But we have people who in the name of offending others or causing them to see the truth; would rather lie or misrepresent the facts or truth!!  HUH!! 

This type thinking or conduct does neither side any good because to not understand the true situation will only lead to grief, pain , further disillusionment and then of course losing all sense of reality!!  It would be like being continually high on Meth...  Or on an never ending Drunk...   It may sound like fun to some people but believe me if you have ever seen someone in this condition you would understand the depravity of it!! DUH!!

Below is an example of such thinking; just maybe you can see what is wrong with this picture??

Read it and weep!!  It is truly sad when people resort to telling lies because they can not stand the truth!!

To Diet or not??

Well folks it seems that some things are always on some people's minds...  For some it is sex, drugs, money, taxes, religion, sports, family, politics or even diet...  HUH!! 

 BTW: {This list is not complete or meant to show any special order of importance!}

It appears that most of the time the real or most important things in life are left to last in our concerns and decision making... The list above covers a vast majority of the concerns and or actions of people today...  What we are going to look at is the importance of DIET in one's life...

Since food is a necessity, how and what you eat is of utmost importance...  The main problem is that due to availability and the knowledge or lack there of...   Most people grow up as a creature of habit and exposure...  What we were fed or saw or discovered is primarily what we eat...  This of course can be satisfactory or absolutely wrong...

This is where understanding proper diet comes in... DUH!!

What is a proper diet?  How does one learn and then process the proper information for a proper diet?  When and where do we find a proper diet?

Life is about Choices!!

Life is about choice... DUH!!  
We all come here with one purpose; that is to learn how to become our self and then how to help others...   If we can succeed in this task we have come full circle...

It seems that many people tend to never really know in their heart of hearts who they really are...  Such a shame; because our whole existence depends on who we become...  This is beyond all physical or environments elements...   It is the spiritual reality that we come to know who we really were meant to be...

Therefore our very being is to focal point of our existence...  It is from here that we develop into our Eternal selves...  We seek to reconnect with GOD!!  

BTW: We all have this inward desire; just most do not know how to access it!!

Maybe this sounds very odd to some but this element of our existence is hard wired into our soul...  We want to be loved and connect with others who will support and cherish us...  We each want eternal companionship...

Life is about recognizing the truth; then learning to live with the results... Learn to live the truth!!

With the election coming up in the United States and all the so called political correctness crap; here are a few words of wisdom...
Back in May 1948 @ 18:00 hours Washington time; when the State of Israel was declared a nation once more... Then @ 18:11 President Harry S. Truman signed a document recognizing Israel state's " de facto authority " and scrawled the word " Approved " ... By recognizing Israel, Truman knew he would be forever damned by people who did not want the Jews to have their own state... or who did not want it in Palestine! But as Truman always told himself, the ultimate test of any presidential decision was " not whether it's popular at the time, but whether it's right.... If it's right, make it, and let the popular take care of itself..."
This was a world shaking decision and a very critical moment the world's history! It was how we should make important decisions in our life... Or in my words:
" Do what is right and let the rest fall where it will" a Kermit-ism 2007
Does it not seem that we are at a similar point in history; with some of the recent political goings on in Washington??
Just maybe President Bush has got it right??
There is something here for you to think about and maybe even change the way you live the rest of your life??
The TRUTH is... Popularity passes!! So it is not about what how we feel about something; it is about what the true situation really is that counts!! Think long and hard about what the truth is in a given situation; dear friend!!
Just maybe to cut and run out on our commitment; will bring a whole lot a grief to our door...
